Yakso BBQ Skewer

Ingrediënten

1 jar Yakso seitan
Yakso coconut oil;
1 zak Yakso Vegan krupuk
1 tablespoon Yakso sambal oelek
Yakso sateh sauce
Yakso ketjap manis
1 pepper
1 aubergine
1 red onion
1 tablespoon djinten
3 cloves fresh garlic
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Four seasons pepper
Bamboo skewers

The nice weather invites you to eat outside. These skewers with seitan are indispensable and irresistible. And super suitable for the BBQ!

1. Briefly drain the seitan in a colander. Keep the pieces coarse and marinate in 1 tablespoon Sambal Oelek, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon Djintin and the 3 cloves of pressed fresh garlic. Leave this covered for a day in the fridge.

2. Wash and roughly chop the vegetables. Briefly stir-fry these vegetables in coconut oil with quite a bit of pepper.

3. Make creative festive skewers by alternating between a piece of marinated seitan and the briefly stir-fried vegetables. Place the skewers on the grill pan or bbq for about 10 minutes, turning them occasionally. Add a bowl of sateh sauce and vegan krupuk. Enjoy your meal!

Tip: also tasty with tempeh in cubes!
