Besides ‘regular krupuk’ based on shrimp and tapioca, there is also a vegan krupuk from now on! A delicious side dish for practically all your Indonesian dishes or ‘just’ as a snack. The new krupuk is made from plant-based ingredients, such as tapoica , ginger and a nice mix of spices and vegetables. This makes it suitable for vegetarians and vegans! A perfect complement to Yakso's authentic krupuk made from (19%) prawns.
Our vega krupuk is made from plant-based ingredients (such as tapoica , ginger and a nice mix of spices and vegetables). Tapoica is the main (basic) ingredient for vegan krupuk. Tapoica is a dried and finely ground cassava root grown responsibly. It is also a very popular ingredient in Asian dishes! The vegan krupuk is fried in 100% sunflower oil, is nice and fluffy and a touch crispy! Extra tasty with a dip of Yakso chilli sauce.
