Full of flavour and surprisingly simple! This stir-fry featuring brown noodles, crunchy vegetables and golden-brown fried tempeh is combined with a rich teriyaki sauce to create a delicious Asian meal. A flavourful dish with a lovely balance of savoury, fresh and umami flavours.
Method:
1. Cut the broccoli into florets and wash them thoroughly. Finely chop the garlic and halve the cherry tomatoes.
2. Cut the tempeh into small cubes and heat the oil in a wok or stir-fry pan. Fry the tempeh until golden brown. Meanwhile, bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the broccoli until al dente.
3. Remove the tempeh from the pan and set it aside. Leave the oil in the pan so that you can use it to fry the vegetables.
4. Bring the water to the boil and cook the brown noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
5. Fry the garlic briefly in the wok, then add the broccoli. Next, add the bean sprouts and cherry tomatoes and fry briefly.
6. Add the noodles, followed by the teriyaki sauce. Return the fried tempeh to the pan and mix everything together well. Heat for a few more minutes until everything is thoroughly warmed through.
7. Serve straight away and enjoy!
